- Work history and platform earnings (when you connect your gig platform accounts)

- Device type, operating system, app version
- IP address and approximate location (country/region level)
- App usage patterns and feature interactions
- Push notification tokens (for verification alerts)
Information from third parties
- Income and transaction data from bank sync (with your consent)
- Platform earnings data from connected gig platforms (Uber, DoorDash, etc.)
- Identity verification results from Persona KYC
3. How We Use Your Information
- To issue and maintain your GigID™ verified identity badge
- To calculate your GigScore™ income intelligence signal
- To match you with relevant financial products and services
- To process GigATM™ income advance requests
- To send verification requests and results via WhatsApp or push notification
- To improve our AI concierge Mavvy's recommendations
- To comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud
4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
For users in the European Economic Area, we process your data under the following legal bases:
- Contract performance — to provide GigID, GigScore, and matching services
- Legitimate interests — to improve our platform and prevent fraud
- Consent — for marketing communications and optional data sharing
- Legal obligation — for KYC/AML compliance where required
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Verifiers — landlords, lenders, and platforms who request your GigID verification (only with your explicit consent per verification request)
- Service providers — bank sync (financial data), Persona (KYC), Pinecone (AI), Twilio (messaging), SendGrid (email), Stripe (payments)
- Insurance partners — authorised insurance capacity providers (only when you request a quote)
- Legal authorities — when required by law or to protect our rights
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active, plus a minimum of 30 days after deletion (to comply with audit requirements). Financial transaction records are retained for 7 years as required by law. Verification audit logs are retained for 5 years.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- Access — request a copy of your personal data
- Correction — update inaccurate data
- Deletion — request erasure of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Objection — opt out of certain processing activities

8. Data Security
We protect your data using industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, bcrypt hashing for credentials, immutable audit logs, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
9. International Transfers
Mavvrixx.ai operates globally. Your data may be processed in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for transfers from the EEA.
10. Children's Privacy
Mavvrixx.ai is not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe we have collected data from a minor, contact us immediately at privacy@mavvrixx.ai.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
