The principles

Three things that never change.

These aren't brand values. They're the architecture. They're built into the code that decides what you see.

🔒
Recommendations are never cold ads.
Every product you see on Mavvrixx is gated behind your Vault data. If your income signals aren't there, you won't see a premium insurance upsell. If your role doesn't match, the product doesn't appear. A member with $0 declared income never sees a product priced for a $100K earner. This is the trust layer. It is not negotiable.
💡
You always know how we earn.
When Mavvrixx earns a referral fee from a partner, we tell you — directly, in the card, before you click. Not in fine print. Not buried in a ToS. Your price is never affected by our relationship with the partner. We earn when you benefit. That's the alignment we require.
⚔️
Mavvy is always working on your behalf.
Mavvy has two jobs: get you what you want, and identify what you need before you know you need it. She is not an ad engine. She does not surface products because of their commission rate. She surfaces them because your data says they fit. If nothing fits — nothing shows. There are no filler slots.
Partner Quality Standard

Six criteria. All six must pass. One failure = no partnership.

We call it the Mavvrixx Partner Quality Standard (MQS). It's not a checklist we run once at signup. It's an ongoing standard. If a partner's rating drops, their friction increases, or fulfilment complaints surface — the partnership is suspended automatically.

# Criterion Threshold What it means
1 Friction ≤ 3 minutes The member can complete the initial application or sign-up in under 3 minutes. No PDF forms. No phone calls required to get started. If the onboarding is complex, we don't list it.
2 Clarity Price visible before click Product, price, and terms are clear before the member clicks through. No bait-and-switch. No hidden fees revealed at checkout. If the product page obscures pricing, it fails this criterion.
3 Reviews ≥ 4.6 stars Verified rating of 4.6 or higher on at least one independent platform: Trustpilot, G2, Apple App Store, or Google Play. We check the source. We verify it's not gamed. A drop below 4.6 triggers a review.
4 Fulfilment Documented reliable delivery The product or service is actually delivered as described — consistently, at scale. We look at complaint patterns, refund rates, and response time. Slow fulfilment or unresolved complaint spikes trigger suspension.
5 Monitoring Monthly review cycle Every active partner is reviewed monthly. We check ratings, new complaints, product changes, and pricing. This isn't a set-it-and-forget-it programme. If something changes, we catch it — and pull the partner if needed.
6 Alignment Genuine indie-worker fit The product must genuinely serve independent workers — not just adjacent industries. A tool built for W-2 employees that happens to also work for freelancers doesn't qualify. The product has to be built for, or meaningfully differentiated for, indie workers.

⛔ If any single criterion is not met — the partner is not listed. No exceptions. No commercial override.

Vault gating

Your data decides what you see. Not our revenue model.

Every recommendation is filtered through your Vault. We call this vault gating. It means a product only surfaces if your actual data supports it.

How vault gating works in practice:
Before any partner card appears, our engine checks your Vault data against that product's requirements. If the match isn't there — the card doesn't exist for you.
🚫
$0 income declared? You never see a premium insurance upsell. We don't know your income story well enough to recommend a product priced for steady earners.
🚫
No income documents in Vault? TurboTax Self-Employed doesn't appear. We'd be sending you to a filing product before you have anything to file.
Verified freelancer, income signals present, IndieScore 45+? Hiscox professional liability appears — because the data supports it, and the product genuinely fits.
Location-independent worker with any income signal? SafetyWing health + travel appears — because stateless workers are exactly who it's built for.

The more you build your Vault — income documents, platform connections, KYC verification — the more precisely Mavvy can find what you need. An empty Vault surfaces nothing. That's not a bug. That's the trust architecture.

Revenue model

How Mavvrixx earns — and why it's aligned with you.

Mavvrixx earns revenue in three ways from partner products. In every case, your price is unaffected. We earn when you benefit. That's not marketing copy — it's the commercial structure.

Affiliate (CJ / Direct)
Referral fee on conversion
When you click through and complete a qualifying action (quote, signup, subscription), Mavvrixx earns a one-time referral fee. Your price is identical to going direct. The partner pays us from their marketing budget — not from your pocket.
Direct / Revenue share
Ongoing commission
Some partners (e.g. SafetyWing) pay Mavvrixx a recurring percentage of your subscription while you're a customer. This creates an incentive for us to maintain quality — if you cancel due to bad experience, we stop earning.
MAP Protocol (API)
Tool call fees
Partners and AI agents that query Mavvrixx data via our MAP Protocol pay per API call. This is separate from member-facing recommendations — it's the B2B data layer. Members always control what data is shared via Consent Token.
The commitment

Mavvy has two jobs. Only two.

Get you what you want. Identify what you need before you know you need it. Everything else is noise.

Mavvy
Mavvy™ — Risk Concierge & Financial Advocate

"The financial system was built against indie workers. Every lender, insurer, and landlord was designed for a W-2 world. I exist to fix that — one Maverick at a time.

When I bring you a product, I've already checked: Does it pass our quality standard? Does your Vault data support it? Is the friction low enough that you'll actually use it?

If the answer to any of those is no — you don't see it. That's not me being conservative. That's me being on your side."

Your side. Always.
